Small and Large gauges to assure your brass meets the demanding SAAMI specifications for primer pocket dimensions.

Insert the “GO” plug gauge into primer pocket, if it does not enter, the crimp must be removed. Consider using a Lee Ram Swage or Lee APP Swage to complete this task.

If the “GO” gauge fits very loosely, reverse and verify with the “NO-GO” end. If the “NO-GO” enters to the bottom of the primer pocket, the primer pocket is oversized and will not reliably retain all primers.

Glock Cases: We do not recommend “fixing” cases fired in pistols with unsupported chambers, because there is no way to make them safe once they have bulged as in TOP picture below. The case wall is thinned where it bulges, and resizing the outside of the case back down to the correct diameter does not restore the case back to its original thickness. If this case is fired in a pistol with an unsupported chamber again, and this thinned section of brass happens to line up with the unsupported part of the chamber, there is a high probability that the case will rupture as in the BOTTOM picture below.

LEE LIQUID ALOX

A 4 OZ. Bottle of LEE LIQUID ALOX is enough for thousands of bullets and gives better accuracy because it eliminates leading. The lube coats the entire bullet just like a thin jacket. It dries to a soft, varnish-like finish that really clings. The dried coating does not degrade gunpowder. Easy to apply and eliminates the need for sizing of most cast bullets. While it works well with all cast or swaged bullets, it works best with the micro band bullets, which are designed for tumble lubing.
